2nd Annual Duck Run Raffle
The Foundation for Educational Opportunity at West Iron County Public Schools held the 2nd Annual Duck Run Raffle on Saturday, July 24, 2004. 1,202 ducks were released in the Iron River near the Spruce Street Bridge at 1:00 p.m. At 1:25 p.m. the first duck crossed the finished line on Apple Blossom Trail near the Iron County Historical Museum in Caspian, Michigan. Another seven ducks, one at a time, later crossed the finish line completing the duck run raffle of 8 cash prize awards.
